Peanuts

OVERVIEW

NACHURS high quality liquid starter fertilizers are low in salt index and impurities. These key features of NACHURS fertilizers provide improved crop safety allowing for precision placement directly with the seed and inoculant. Efficient uptake of phosphorous and potassium early in the peanut plants life cycle is important for promoting above ground vegetative growth and below ground root growth. This helps maximize yield potential and improves plant health allowing the peanut plant to better survive stress conditions.

NACHURS HIGH YIELD PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS

PREMIUM 4 STEP PROGRAM
The following are intended as a general recommendation for all peanut production. Adjustments can be made to these recommendations based on geography, environmental conditions, soil type, water availability, etc.  Consult your local District Sales Manager and/or Agronomist for detailed specifications based on a more narrow set of circumstances.

EARLY SEASON PROGRAM

1. At Planting:

  • In-furrow
    1. Products such as (but not limited to) NACHURS Triple Option®, NACHURS playmaKer®, NACHURS® 6-24-6 and/or Rhyzo-Link® 3-10-13 should be used in-furrow at a rate of 1 to 2 gallons/acre with liquid inoculant. A Y-splitter may also be used for increased protection in crops which are sensitive to fertilizer placed in close proximity to seed.
    2. NACHURS micronutrients (NACHURS CornGrow®, NACHURS SoyGrow®, etc.) should be added to the above fertility programs at a rate of 1 to 2 pints/acre for maximum productivity.

FOLIAR PROGRAM  Foliar fertilization and nutrition is not a stand-alone program. It must be used as a key element in a complete fertility program. Foliar applications not only supply needed nutrients through the foliage, it also stimulates the plants ability to take up additional nutrients from the soil. A healthy plant with adequate nutrition (especially K) will be able to tolerate biotic and abiotic stress more efficiently. Foliar nutrition allows for “spoon-feeding” the plant to optimize efficiency and performance. Together, soil applications and foliar applications can work together to increase the plants ability to produce maximum yield.

2. At FULL STAND- FOLIAR:

  • Products such as (but not limited to) NACHURS Finish Line® should be applied alone or in conjunction with pesticides (fungicides, herbicides, etc.) at full stand at a rate of 1 to 2 quarts/acre. A jar test is recommended to check compatibility with pesticides.

3. At FIRST BLOOM- FOLIAR:

  • Products such as (but not limited to) NACHURS Finish Line® (1 to 2 quarts/acre), Rhyzo-Link® 0-0-15 (1 gallon/acre), NACHURS K-fuel® (1 to 2 gallons/acre), and/or NACHURS topKicK® (1 to 2 gallons/acre) should be applied alone or in conjunction with pesticides (fungicides, insecticides, etc.) at first bloom. A jar test is recommended to check compatibility with pesticides.

4. At MID FLOWER- FOLIAR:

  • Products such as (but not limited to) NACHURS Finish Line® (1 to 2 quarts/acre), Rhyzo-Link® 0-0-15 (1 gallon/acre), NACHURS K-fuel® (1 to 2 gallons/acre), and/or NACHURS topKicK® (1 to 2 gallons/acre) should be applied alone or in conjunction with pesticides (fungicides, insecticides, etc.) at mid-bloom. A jar test is recommended to check compatibility with pesticides.
