The same thing that takes years off of your life can take bushels off of your crop.  Sometimes there is nothing you can do to control it and sometimes you cause the problem all by yourself.   I am talking about stress.  We all know that the doctors tell us heart disease is stress related.  We should eat a balanced diet, guard against stress to live a happy healthy life.  The same can be said for your crops.  Proper nutrition and limiting stress equals yield!!!  As an agronomist, it is my job to have a plan to control the stresses we’ll encounter during the growing season, from fertility to weeds, and planting to insect pests.  Then MOTHER NATURE comes along and brings stress into your life.  Just ask my neighbors 3 miles to the west of me. They are in the process of rebuilding after Mother Nature removed the roof off of their house.

Crops are always fighting off weather related stresses, from drought to flooding, frost to heat stress, and wind to hail crops fight it all.  The same way stress causes humans to get sick, stress induces disease in crops.  There are a couple things you can do to fight back.  The NACHURS Rhyzo-Link line of products is the best way to be proactive.  Rhyzo-Link is the combination of NACHURS high quality fertilizer and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs).  PGPRs offer several biological benefits which lead to healthier, stronger plants, with larger root systems that are able to handle stress better.   Details can be found on the website at nachurs.com if you have to act in a more reactionary manner to stress events such as hail damage.  Foliar feeding with Rhyzo-Link or our NACHURS Finish Line foliar product helps to control stress induced ethylene production and get plants back to normal growth and production.  Getting back to normal as soon as possible is key to limiting yield robbing disease.

When Mother Nature causes stress in our lives make sure you have been proactive and have a good plan in place.
